Are you a high school student who is interested in learning more about people of different faiths, in finding ways to build understanding, break down misconceptions, and learn more about peers from their own perspectives? Would you like to collaborate with other high school students from all different religious traditions in community service projects, interfaith dialogue, discussions of topics important to your generation and participate in interesting activities around Los Angeles? If so, the Interfaith Youth Council of Los Angeles County may be the opportunity you've been waiting for!
We live in one of the most diverse counties in the country, and we interact with people of different ethnic backgrounds, religious traditions, and lifestyles every day - at school, at work, and even at home. Working together through conversation, site visits, service projects, dialogues with faith leaders and other participatory experiences, the board and participants of IYCLAC will broaden their skills in interfaith understanding, partnership and collaboration. Please visit our "About" page to learn more, and our "Contact" page to fill out an application. We'd love to have you join us!
